Led by Eastern European Holding Company WLL and chaired by Tamas Hovany, Chairman of Bahrain-Hungary Relations, Project Wasteless combines decades of European environmental success with local market knowledge.
Together with Spicy Software Solutions WLL, a Bahrain-based company specializing in cross-border innovation, we bring proven, scalable food waste recovery systems to Bahrain. Our experience spans years of successful implementation across Europe — and now we’re ready to deliver results for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Why Now?
Bahrain loses BHD 139 million annually due to food waste, according to a 2024 Zawya report. Additionally, 55% of all waste in Bahrain is organic, as reported by the FCCIB.
This is not just an environmental issue — it’s an economic one. Bahrain's Net Zero by 2060 strategy and national sustainability goals demand action now.
